School Workforce Census Autumn 2026 Key Dates

• Census date 05/11/2026 
• Absence Start date 01/09/2025  
• Absence End Date 31/08/2026 
• Continuous Contract Start Date 01/09/2025 
• Continuous Contract End Date 06/11/2026

Changes 2025/2026 census

There are two main changes to be aware of this year:

• You must have an Ethnicity recorded for any staff member who has been with the school for at least 100 days. See how to manage these settings here: Staff Ethnicity
• You must have a Disability Status recorded for any staff member who has been with the school for at least 100 days. Navigate to Staff > Profile > Medical Conditions, Dietary Needs and Impairments.
